The UAE’s University of Sharjah and the CSR Al Ahli Group are hosting a conference on the theme of “Innovation and Global Competition”. I’ll be participating in a panel headed by Eduardo Marty on Monday, the 22nd of February 2021 from 4pm to 6pm UAE time (UTC +4).

Leadership for Innovation
If you are the leader of an innovative organization, you are also are also its chief culture officer. (1) The words you say, (2) the example you set by your character and actions, and (3) the formal policies you establish jointly create a context for innovation—or stifle it.There is no recipe, but leaders for innovation must themselves be experimenters, exercisers of judgment, and see themselves as a work-in-progress, as well as establish a culture within which their team’s members can do the same.
Innovation leadership is is much a matter of cognitive mindset and character-development as it is a matter of establishing institutional practices.
