Racism: scale perspective

I approve of this message.

“We have a small racism problem in this country. We have a medium-sized perceptions of racism problem. Mostly, we have a huge race-hustle ideology problem.”
—Stephen R. C. Hicks, author of Explaining Postmodernism: Skepticism and Socialism from Rousseau to Foucault

  1. Thank you professor for helping me navigate this society I’m living in. I’m a African American man who’s been called crazy and have been questioned with incredulity about instituting logic and reason in decision making in my life. Even by my own family. There’s a lot of emotional discourse going on and it’s kind of a relief that I have a novice level of understanding of Postmodern philosophy. I will do my best to continue to learn as well as properly teach others about the history of thought. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Does or could Nietzsche’s typology of responses (ressentiment, etc. to society provide a more balanced frame for approaching race-relations in the USA as reflected in today’s public discourse that tends to focus on issues ranging from discrimination to violent crime, and similarities between critical race theory, anti-racist, etc. and post modernist propaganda?
