There’s a logic to the trendline of postmodern art
Mr Hicks, how would you respond that there is some quantifiable value or virtue that the Rouseauians/Jacobans had at least brought on the overthrow of an old world monarchy, that eventually brought about another modern/progressive society,

The Revolution began in 1789, and succeeded at ending feudalism shortly thereafter. The Jacobins did not take power until 1793.
