Philosophy and Film Series: Blade Runner

blade_runner_150pxThe Philosophy and Film Series presents the 1982 science fiction classic Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, and Sean Young. My colleagues Shawn Klein and Matt Flamm will host a screening of the film and a discussion of its philosophical themes.

Date: October 11
Place: Severson Auditorium, Scarborough Hall, Rockford College
Time: Screening at 5pm and Discussion at 7 pm

All who are interested are welcome to attend.

    The film is a masterpiece and raises all sorts of philosophical, particularly ethical questions. Should be fun and fruitful.
