    Would Hayek count as a philosopher? I seem to recall that there were some stunningly long sentences in The Fatal Conceit. If he qualifies, I’ll try to dig up the passages and word counts.

    Does James Joyce count as a philosopher? If so, then he is the easy winner. Molly Bloom’s soliloquy in “Ulysses” is 4,391 words.
