Me, 1968 and 2017

A summer trip to the family homestead in Canada brought me face to face with this pastel portrait my parents had done of me at age 7 or 8. Aside from the slightly crazed look in my (older me) eyes, I like the contrast and continuity.

  1. It’s great: I see the continuity. If your latter expression is a touch crazed it’s likely a reflection of what you’re taking on. Myself, at the end of an extra long shift I tend to look like Nick Nolte in his mug shot.

  2. I dunno. I see the eyes of a wise and subversive child. *grin*

Looking for you on twitter. Are you on there? Found you through Jordan Peterson. You creating any online university too? Like him? Go for it. We need you.
